Patricia McCallion, who owns her own hair and beauty salon in Waterloo Street, agreed to be stripped of her make-up and lashes to take part in ‘Pretty Single’ which airs on Monday. Mum-of-one and self-confessed romantic, Patricia admits she hides her true self behind make-up to boost her confidence.

Love In The Countryside, hosted by radio presenter Sara Cox, will aim to match those who live hectic lives in urban areas with people living in the country. The show, aired on BBC Two, have found a group of singletons in the country who are struggling to find a love-match in their small communities.
Some of those are farmers who rely on their land for sustenance, and the show is hoping to show city dwellers who are fed up of the fast-paced lifestyle how to live in the country. Sara, who herself was brought up on a farm and now lives in London, can appreciate both sides of the coin.
Irish sheep farmer to take on BBC dating show
The show is hoping to use their dating experts to help any local romantics who are unlucky in love to find their perfect partner. However, they are looking for a particular type of person, saying in an advert that they want people who are “impossibly hard to please”. The pilot, which will not be broadcast on television, will give Essex residents the chance to have their love life solved, while also experiencing what it is like to be part of a TV show.

It’s set to be fronted by up-and-coming online star Yung Filly. The show allows contestants to snoop around their potential date’s homes and meet their friends and family before they actually meet them. The show – called Hot Property – will see the contestant then decide if they’d like to go on a date with them based on what they dig up and through chats with their loved ones.
According to the BBC, each episode kicks off with Yung Filly showing the singleton an item owned by five possible dates. Yung Filly will lead them around the houses of the three leftover suitors in a quest to uncover their personalities and hidden secrets. The snooping session will inevitably leave the contestant with many burning questions so wingman Yung Filly will take them off to chat with the suitors’ closest loved one, whether that be their best friend or even their mum.

The show is set to return to our TV screens very soon, presented by Sara Cox. The aim of the programme is to set up people living in rural isolation with urbanites, with the hopes of them falling madly in love. Eoin is a year-old farmer who runs a flock in excess of 1, sheep and herd of cattle in his native Derry, while he also runs another sheep enterprise in Scotland.
He is also the twin brother of a man previously featured as part of our Young Farmer Series, Jonathan Kelly. Eoin admitted to finding it difficult in his search for love, due in part to the sheep shearers and farmers busy lifestyle. Although busy, Eoin truly loves what he does and after having some fun, he thinks now is the time to make a move on love. You do it for the love of the animals. I have enjoyed myself. Eoin is looking for a girl who is not afraid to get her hands dirty, joking that he will even buy the right girl a pair of wellies.
